Steve:
The i1Pro will not work in Windows for Arm ..
☹️
Steve

I just received an email from xrite that the i1pro 3 now has an interim workaround that lets you use it on a windows/virtual windows arm processor. For the i1pro 2 a firmware/SDK update will be needed. I only have access to an i1pro 2, however, and can't test it myself...

Steve:
Edit: A crash when selecting 'Profiling', as explained elsewhere in this forum, is often an issue with bad/corrupt OpenGL drivers.

tallLeRoy:
@Itsguy you might try VMWare Fusion 3.5 with ColourSpace. The individual license is free and installing Windows 11 is very easy. The new version includes OpenGL support.

disclaimer, I have not tested this myself. I need to bother Steve each time I want to move my license to another machine or VM for testing.

I tried installing VMware Fusion and ColourSpaceZRO crashes the same way as under UTM, the moment the profiling window opens. HCFR seems to works fine in both systems though.

Then it is an OpenGL issue.
Have you searched this Forum for info on that?
VMware doesn't have the necessary OpenGL capability.

Edit: The latest version of VMware Fusion with the latest VMware Tool now has the correct OpenGL capability.

Hi everyone, I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering if anyone has any updated information on i1 Pro 3 compatibility with Windows on ARM.

Previously, I tested ColorSpace on an ARM-based Windows system via VMware. The software ran fine, and the i1Display Pro worked without issues. However, the i1Pro 3 failed to connect, seemingly due to the lack of ARM-compatible drivers.

I've been hesitant to re-test because of the inconvenience of repeatedly transferring the ColorSpace license. Has anyone had success with the i1Pro 3 on native ARM Windows since then—or found any workaround or updated driver?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

There is no ARM driver for any i1Pro device.
