We have just realised that the last release has included a bit of the new development for x64, and as such the installation location has changed.
The new location will be either of the following locations, depending on the installation option chosen:

Install for me only – C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Programs\Light Illusion\ColourSpace\Win32
Install for all users – C:\Program Files (x86)\Light Illusion\ColourSpace\Win32

The previous location used was without the Win32 folder, and the previous ColourSpace installation will still be there.
And if you have a link icon on your desktop that has been there for previous installations that link will still go to the old, previous installation.

For a clean new installation navigate to the ColourSpace installation location you previously used, and use the unins000.exe to uninstall everything.
That will also remove the new installation, so the latest release will need to then be installed again.

Presently, the Fonts/i1d3 Support Files/Translations folders will also need to be copied into the new Win32 folder.
With the next release we will clean all this up.

Steve, should we deactivate before uninstalling/installing?

No!
And it does say that in the ColourSpace Installation PDF.

What will happen with ZRO. Is it also migrating to 64 architecture or will it stay with the 32 one?

I think you have to copy the "C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Programs\Light Illusion\ColourSpace\i1d3 Support Files" files to the one with the same name in Win32. Correct?

A note on the above release, as there are some deep-rooted changes within the Colour Engine specifically, and not just the new x64 native build.

We have fully tested all the LUT Generation tools, but it is likely there may be issues we have missed.
Hence the Open Beta status of this release is not just for the new x64 native version.

The new Colour Engine improvements will show in both x64 and Win32 versions, although only the x64 version can take full advantage of them.
The real improvements will come with the use of larger LUT Generation sizes.

The new x64 native version is also a significant improvement over the older Win32 version with major speed increases on top of the benefits of greater memory access, etc.
However, not all hardware is presently supported, and some may never be.
We have removed the obvious hardware that has no x64 capability, such as AEQ Kroma monitors, NEC monitors, Spyder probes.
But there will be other hardware that will likely show issues, such as the i1Pro 1/2 which should work, but presently do not.
And some of the older Minolta probes.
We will work through these issues as quickly as we can.

All feedback on any issues for is appreciated.

Now testing the new color engine for LUT building.

Yes, there is a real speed improvement overall.

Depending on the operation being performed it can be 30%+.
More obvious with higher license levels with Multithreading.
