When you open the White Balance menu in the service menu, it will default to OLED Light set at 100, regardless of the OLED Light value you have set in the regular TV menu.
If you select the WARM setting in the service/ , check the RGB bars in the software and adjust the Green and Blue channels to correct any RGB balance errors.
After making your adjustments, press the back button to navigate one menu back and exit the White Balance menu.
At this point, you will see the patch from your test pattern generator (TPG) (109%), and your TV will switch to the OLED Light value from your regular menu.
Then, take a measurement and observe the RGB bars. Return to the White Balance screen to make further adjustments, go back again, and take another measurement.
Once you have completed this process, use the regular TV controls to calibrate your full grayscale. |
