HI,
About a year ago, DataColor launched the new Spyder 2024 and Spyder Pro 2024 models and discontinued production of the SpyderX and SpyderX2 models in fall 2025.
While ColourSpace has long supported Spyder models up to SpyderX2, Light Illusion has stated that it has no plans to integrate the new Spyder models.
At the same time, JVC, for example, has decided to only support the new Spyder 2024 in its own "Projector Calibration Software 14 v2.0" (JVC-AutoCal).
It is therefore likely that users of new JVC projectors in particular will purchase Spyder 2024 models in the future and then be disappointed that they cannot use them with ColourSpace.
After consulting with Light Illusion, I am providing a small add-on that allows the use of the new Spyder 2024 sensors from DataColor in all ColourSpace versions.
This is a standalone and very simple add-on that can be activated or deactivated via batch files and connects either a SpyderX2 or a Spyder 2024 when the SpyderX2 is selected in ColourSpace.
The functionality of ColourSpace itself is not affected. The only difference is the sensor serial number displayed in ColourSpace.
Here is my SpyderX2:

And here is my Spyder 2024:

The free add-on really only makes sense for users who specifically want to use a Spyder 2024 with ColourSpace, for whatever reason.
The add-on "spyder24_4_CS" is available in the cloud at:

This can also be downloaded separately for information purposes at:
