can you try this?
# Enable "Calibration API" on certain models and regions (using JSON)
bscpylgtvcommand 192.168.1.18 set_configs "{\"tv.model.supportCalmanSW\": true}"

Maybe a regionchange for example to uk is also a must

im not at home and cant test by myself

ok, finally we have an answer:
"...our devices are calibrated therefore no support for an own calibration is provided. If you wish to do so, you have to contact your retailer or service provider. Sorry, if you received different info from one of our other employees..."

Have you sent a reply, with a link to the ColourSpace LG TV user guide page, as well as Calman's LG guide too?
Really does seem they just do not know what they are talking about.

And as for saying their devices are factory calibrated...

in germany the technical lg support does not know about the problem and can't help.

i got a c3 with the flag calmansupport false
and i can set it to calibration mode

got also a c4 with the same flag to false
and i cant set it to calibration mode.

dont know whats the reason from lg. maybe its a special edition for retailer so that they can sell their own calibrations.

my reseller also gives very strange answers about it. he knows the situation about 1 year and he is in contact with calman 🤣

@Steve
no, I haven't sent them any links, but at least one of them confirmed ColourSpace compatibility...

@Optimalsettings
I can try this but not immediately since the TV set is not mine and 1 hours drive away... up to now I have shied back from using bscpylgtv... no Python installed... very "hacky" ... from my point of view many things could go wrong...
that's why I was happy to see that CS can do many/all things DeviceControl was doing (no Pearl, just "click" and be happy )
but of course if that is the way to go, I will do it.

this command is not documented in the md-File... is there also a "supportColourSpaceSW" command?
should I not do a "get_configs" first to confirm that it is really "false"?
how would I read and write a region change?
Thanks

the developer ask me in the avs forum to test this command. he said there could not be anything broken.
maybe i also have to change my region sttings to uk or us, i can set it to false afterwards if its not working..
when the command works he will put it in the md.

Google Translation
Thank you for your inquiry to the CEO of LG Electronics.

After consulting with our technical department and product managers, I can inform you that the OLED C43 is not auto-calibrable. This generally applies to models that were not, or were not originally, intended for the German market. This applies, among others, to the C41/42/43 models as well as the G42/43.

The C43 was also not originally intended for Germany, but was then offered exclusively by Media Markt as a cheaper version. Media Markt has also offered one or two cheaper models from other European countries in the past, including devices from Italy that did not offer a recording function.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

If it is possible to define the actual firmware/command differences that stop calibration working it may be possible to do something about it.
But we have never seen a model that shows such issues...
And when we have enabled the Log capability for users with the issue, nothing valid shows in the log report.

As mentioned before, everyone with the issue should message LG's CEO.

After writing the CEO they would not help because it is not a UK model. I got them to elevate it to European Support who wrote me this:
Dear Jakob,

I have received the below escalation from our UK colleagues, I can only confirm what our Help Desk already answered you, LG is not testing nor responsible to support 3rd party calibration tools. If your tools are not working you need to check with the tool developer, if no success I guess our LG TV is not right product for you.

Hmm ....

I wrote back with him and he has agreed to let the tech department have a look.
They are on holiday but back next week. Lets see what comes from that.
