Where are you watching content from the ENVY?

There may be a mismatch in the output settings of madVR or in the GPU.

What level setting is your madVR and your GPU outputting?

What patch scale did you use for the patch generation?

I'm also curious about how to generate a 3D LUT for uploading to madVR HTPC.

If I profile my display using an Extended Range patch set, what is the right way to generate the LUT? Usually I use Normal Range with Normalise Code Range ticked. Are there any settings to generate the correct LUT from the start or will we always have to do a LUT adjustment for video scale? With an Extended Rage profile, would doing the video scale LUT adjustment use Pass Black or Pass Black SW?

Forgot to mention when I use madVR HTPC for viewing content, I have it set to output legal range levels and my GPU is set to full range. That way, the output retains BTW and WTW.

Profile with LEGAL, then generate the 3D LUT, and apply a videoscale passblack filter.
