Dear calibrators,

i can't find a way to generate a 3D-LUT for a MadVR HTPC with correct video levels. Within CS/LUT-Adjustment/Scaling/Video Scale i doesn't have an option for it. Is there any other way to scale the video-levels or what am I missing here? For the HTPC-measurement (characterisation) i used PGenerator and madTPG. But all results are ending with wrong levels. With my Envy (Extreme) and madTPG all works perfect (with RGB full).

From the User Guide:

"With madVR HTPC, unless the issue has been fixed by madVR, the LUT will likely need to be rescaled to video range using LUT Adjustment/Scaling/Video Scale.
(Forcing the use of a video range LUT is a madVR limitation.)"

thanks for reply. I know this part of the User Guide, but there is no option within LUT Adjustment as described (CS HTL License).

The LUT is made as written in the user guide.
When it is loaded into an Envy extreme it is perfect.
Copied out of the envy into the PC, perfect. called (1d1, 3d LUT)
Send direct through MadTPG to the pc, to dark.
What are we missing?

Envy boxes do not need Video Scale.
HTPC madVR does.

3DLUT after profiling + calculating within the Envy Extreme vs. exakt same 3DLUT (+PassBlack) within madVR HTPC

Then I guess you have an unknown problem with your workflow/settings with madVR.
Sorry to say it would be impossible to even guess what that is.
I would ask madVR for assistance.

I have again tested a LUT in madVR HTPC and it works perfectly as defined in the User Guides with Video Scale.
You must have a setup incorrect elsewhere in your configuration.

Thanks for testing out again. CS Setup was exactly as described in Your Guide. We`ll keep on searching for PC... (Envy works perfect and its fantastic).
