My intent is giving some suggestions about how using the interactive white controls, typical used in manual calibration.

Important to keep in mind:

• There is nothing within the LG allowing interactive control values to be retrieved from the TV. So it is up to you exporting the related data for further importing.
• The controls apply to the mode your TV is set.
• There are 2 pages you can select depending you are acting either 2 points or 22 points interactive controls. Related commands (i.e. import/export/reset) are scoped to the the selected controls. Note: you have also 10 points control. Never tested as not in line to my practice done by tweaking first 2 points high and then 22 points.

I have found very comfortable (and time saving) to have a 22 grey scale running (repeating from manual measure) and tweaking on the LG interactive controls at the same time. For this approach I use the Diff EOTF page. But off course as alternative you can run the grey scale and tweaking the levels to are interested to.

Note: 2018 LG models have 20 point controls.
