An update on the status of LG TVs and ColourSpace integration.

As is well known, we developed our ColourSpace Integration for LG TVs independently, with the help of information freely available on the internet, and with the help of a number of ColourSpace users.

However, we have now been in dialogue with LG TV's division (separate from our LG Pro monitor ColourSpace Integration) for some time.
LG's TV division have been testing ColourSpace, and are more than happy with ColourSpace's integration and calibration capabilities.
Specifically, they are keen for LG users to have access to calibration software that doesn't cause banding/artefacts, as happens with alternative calibration software.

Great news! "Water wears away stone." But there's no guarantee that other TV manufacturers will follow LG TV's lead.

Wow, Congratulations!!! Best calibration software out there IMO. I'm just a newbie to calibration and this software has been amazing. The attention to detail and accuracy is astounding. I never thought i'd would be so interested in calibrating my own tv, but the results are amazing. The amount of information/guides/tip & tricks available have really help me learn and appreciate TV calibration. Once you gather the basics, it really is so simple to calibrate with this software with no need for hand holding. I love the whole process of learning what the data means, instead of trusting AI (autocal) to do it for me. Just wanted to say thanks. Much continued success to you guys.

What is the stage of interaction in terms of final integration with LG TV? Is it in the approval stage or is it already fully working with the LG TV API?

ColourSpace has been fully integrated with the stated LG TVs for some years.

The difference now is LG are happy with ColourSpace Integration, as it doesn't suffer the same banding & artefact issues as alternative calibration systems, and they have now tested it for themselves.
But be aware there is no such thing as an official API for LG TVs.
