It looks like there is a newer madVR x64 dll, so we will update that.
Mathius has just sent it over to us.

Downloaded and installed ColourSpace x64. MYIRO-1 and CR-100 probes are working as they should, and LUT generation is noticeably faster.
Great work all around.

Both HERA and PCM2X from Admesy work in the x64 open beta.

Steve:
Yes, there is a real speed improvement overall.

Depending on the operation being performed it can be 30%+.
More obvious with higher license levels with Multithreading.
The LUT generation improvement is really huge. A 256 points can be generated in a very fast way.
I have also run some testing on my PC a about profile execution.
First graph:
Patch xecution Time comparison
I have compared, on my PC, per patch execution time of the 32 bit (x86) with the 64 bit one.
The bigger is the patch-set, the larger is the improvement. With a 27000 patch-set its close to 30%.

I have also computed, on a 27000 patch-set, the execution patch over around 100 patches and plotted it:
Incremental patch-set execution time

During the patch-set execution each patch execution requires more time a certain rate. Nice to have a characterisation mode that keeps a 0 incremental rate.

Steve:
However, not all hardware is presently supported, and some may never be.
We have removed the obvious hardware that has no x64 capability, such as AEQ Kroma monitors, NEC monitors, Spyder probes.
But there will be other hardware that will likely show issues, such as the i1Pro 1/2 which should work, but presently do not.
The X-Rite i1Pro1/2 works great with the 64-bit version of CS if you copy the required "i1Pro64.dll" file into the ColourSpace program directory.

Today I get this message when I'm trying to connect to the madVR Envy or the HTPC Version.

As all was working, and we have not issued an update to ColourSpace, and all is still working here on my PCs, the issue is local to your system...

Most likely an issue with your Firewall/Anti-virus, or suchlike.

Or the fact you swapped the dll...
Delete ColourSpace and try the default installation - unfortunately, without that, none of your feedback is valid.

Steve

Edit: seems you have proven the issue is the new dll madVR supplied.
You will need to talk to them.

If someone else has the same problems I described with the madVR in the x64 version reach out to me I'm willing to share my fixed .dll

It is up to madVR to provide a correctly fixed dll if needed.
We can then update ColourSpace as required.

For obvious reasons, we cannot use a hacked dll in our releases, especially as we have not seen the issue.
