Support for the new $500 USD LUT box LUMA?

There is a new LUT box called a LUMA that is going on pre order for $500 USD soon.

https://lumahdr.com
https://www.avsforum.com/threads/introducing-luma-—-a-real-time-hdmi-av-processor.3344652/

It supports .cube, .3dl or .csp formatted LUTS.

As a user for the HTL version of ColourSpace, I would love to be able to use this new consumer level device with LUTS I create with ColourspaceHTL. Near as I can tell this is going to be the least expensive LUT box on the market.

Are there any plans to support it?

That is up to the manufacturer.
They would have to request ColourSpace Integration.
But, if you can upload LUT using a USB stick, or some other means, the Professional ColourSpace license will already work.

It seems it will have support in the other app for dummies so it wouldn't hurt to drop them an email.

Those LUT formats are already supported in the ColourSpace professional license:

BMD (.3dl) 17/21/33/65/66 or CineSpace (.csp) 17/21/33/65/66

Even without direct integration, you can upgrade your HTL into LTE and export the BMD LUT format.

Since it will have an open API, LightIllusion may add a direct upload integration under the consumer license. Still, the company has to send a test unit when it's available.

As the box has no TPG functionality, integration with ColourSpace will not really bring any direct benefits presently.
(Other than potentially being direct HTL/HTP/HTX compatible.)
But as the box doesn't actually exist yet outside of PR and the sub-factory actually building the box, these conversations are a bit moot at this time.

But we always treat all hardware manufacturers the same.
Any manufacturer can contact us and request integration into ColourSpace - displays, probes, LUT boxes, etc.
We just need a viable SDK/API, and a loan example of the hardware for the integration work.

And right now from the provided Avsf link it would seem Johnny has his hands full getting a first production version out and working, so integration with the likes of ColourSpace is likely not top of his list right now!

I see that Johnny is UK-based, like LightIllusion, so the distance and the fact that there are no time zone differences are a benefit.

Additionally, LightIllusion consistently releases multiple updates each month as needed, while CalMAN has taken six months to produce its latest release.
