Profile Concatenation - Theoretical Questions

Hello,

I was reading about the Profile Concatenation option in the Advanced Operation guide.
The guide said "combining the best measurement data from different profile measurement sets,"
but I wasn't able to wrap my mind around some theoretical questions:

1. What happens when you concatenate two profiles that happen to have some patch measurements in common?
2. When there is a conflict between patch measurements in both profiles, which data is retained and which is replaced?
3. For example, if I choose to manage Profile "A" and then use the concatenate option to add to it Profile "B", and both profiles contain RGB primaries measurements, what measurements are going to be prioritized? Will profile B primaries measurements replace profile A primaries measurements? Or the other way around?

Looking forward reading about your experiences with profile concatenation.

I'd have to ask why you haven't just tested for yourself?
You have al the tools needed within ColourSpace....
And it would be a very good learning process.

Any identical measurements would be overwritten by the incoming concatenation profile. So in your example Profile "B"'s RGB primaries measurements will overwrite Profile "A"'s RGB primaries measurements.

Thank you both for your replies!

@DNice, thank you for your answer. This should be added to the guide.
@Steve, yes indeed. The point is, I had no access to my ColourSpace laptop at the time.
