It loos like there is a bug with Augment with Grey Axis Sizes over 33.
We are looking into it.

It is something new since build 2245 or is this the same issue I asked about, via emails with Ted, in May 2024? Build 2241 works up to 49 points in an active session.

No idea, as this has only just been reported to us.
And the '33' value may not be accurate.
We are only now investigating.
(We would not know about any dialogue you had with Ted.)

Ok. The dialogue with Ted does have a response from you in the chain. I do know Build 2241 and down-- to a specific lower build timeframe-- cannot process grayscale points greater than 49 via augment. The augmentation also has to be done in the current "live" session. That means you cannot attempt to create a 3dlut file from an augmented profile you made in a prior ColourSpace session.

There is no requirement to have the data in a single session.
(Other than any Drift/Change between sessions will cause accuracy issues!)
And I've never heard of a 49 limit?

As part of the investigation I have run a BCC of 5^3 with Grey Axis Size of 9, and then performed an Augment Quick Profile Grey Only RGB of 65 through the LUT.
The Augment LUT Generation from the two combined profiles worked perfectly.

We have since confirmed that the original reported issue was due to using an incorrect workflow used by the user that reported a problem.

Testing shows Augment working perfectly with the above BCC and Quick Profile.
And there is no limit on the Grey Scale Size used for the Augment process, and no restriction requiring the procedure to be completed within a single calibration session.
What is critical is the correct workflow is adhered to, as defined in the Advanced Operation user guide.

It may also be worth pointing to the ColourSpace-Changes doc, provided with all ColourSpace downloads. For ColourSpace 1.0.0.2163 release it does state 'Greyed-out Hint, Augment, and Drift for Fit Space as not valid'.
