In the next release of ColourSpace we will be adding the ability for ColourSpace GUI/Menus to be shown using Foreign Languages, via a new 'Preferences' option.

The Language Files can be User Generated.

For any user to generate a 'Language File' in their own language, we will provide a 'Source' language file, with all the words and phrases in English, and the user will need to define the same words and phrases as 'Destinations'.
Each Foreign Language 'word/phrase' will really need to be as short as possible, or at least the same/less characters than the English version.
So using abbreviations would be a good approach.

Any user interested in performing a translation can make a request for instruction via the Contact form.

We are now testing an Alpha version of ColourSpace with the new Languages option.

Anyone who is interested in providing a Translation for their language can use the Contact form to become involved.

While we do not have all Languages yet available in ColourSpace, this shows the initial ones we are working on with users.
We can add any language, except potentially those that are right-to-left structured, although we hope those will be possible too.

We have added AI based translations for the full list of languages supported in the initial Alpha of ColourSpace with the languages Presets options.
Users can edit these file for accuracy, as they wish.

The languages provided are:

Portuguese

Chinese (Simplified) - User Translation provided

There will be errors, and some translations will likely not fit the available menu space.

We have just made a new Release for ColourSpace and ColourSpace ZRO, both with the new Language capability included.

This is a first iteration, and there will be issues/errors with languages other than English.
Please provide feedback here.

Hi,
When selecting Default language on a german Windows 10, I think it is not taken into account that there is a different decimal devider (comma instead of a point). That may be the reason that the probe matiching window shows wrong values.


I also think, that the german language file could use a little fine tuning. For a long term ColourSpace user who is used to the english UI, it reads a bit odd at times.

We have a update for German translation already from the user that provided the first translation - which we added to with automated translation.
Those changes will be in the next release.
But you can also make your own changes.
