I have the problem that DeviceControl unfortunately does not connect to my G2. I use the right IP address and I have also tried port 3000 and 3001ssl, but no luck. Strangely enough, I manage to establish a connection via bscpylgtv and it also works via the LG WhiteBalance tool, but not with DeviceControl.
Does anyone have any ideas?

If your firewall is blocking DeviceControl, try to disable it and retry, or create a hotspot with your mobile phone and connect your system and TV to that network.

I'm running into the exact same issue, were you able to resolve? Also when trying to update DeviceControl it says Error.

I did create a hotspot with my mobile phone, also turned off the firewall.

The issue has been solved via email... after installing DeviceControl in C:\DeviceControl and Pearl in C:\Strawberry.
