Hello now that i am getting the hang of this. The only thing that still confuses me is the Target luma and profile luma boxes. I am not certain if i should be selecting to apply profile luma after a characterisation is finished or after the verification.

What i do as of now when i calibrate is i set the 100nit as my target and then it shows up as 124 target on the manual measurements on 109,109,109 when i calirabte the white balance.

I ask because i notice that after i run a characterisation or a verification the profile luma numbers change and i am scared/worried if i apply it it will mess up what i have done or if i dont apply it i am not doing it wrong.

I am still learning somethings maybe over thinking things so far what i have learned.

I also may have a question regarding the RGB color widget ill make a seperate post for that. Thank you guys in advance.

The Target Luma settings have no impact on LUT calibration.
They just set the target for calibration reporting, etc.

If you want to know how accurate your calibration is to a defined 'standard', the Min/Max Target values should be set to those values.

As SDR is a relative standard, if you want to see how accurate your calibration is to your TV's actual black/white levels, then set the Target values to always follow the Profile values.
