LightSpace License Activation during Remote Desktop usage.

I recently purchased LightSpace HTL. I ran a long calibration on my TV last night that was not finished when I left for work this morning. I connected to my laptop desktop remotely via Remote Desktop Connection to check the status.

I happened to close and then open LightSpace and I was prompted with the licensing dialog again. I entered my code and LightSpace said it was already registered.

Is this expected behavior?

I'm sure what I did is not common when calibrating, but I'd like to be able to use LightSpace through Remote Desktop if possible.

That will depend on the 'remote desktop' you use.
Different remote desktop systems operate in different ways...
It may also depend on the installation be a Local user, and the remote access being Admin, or similar.
There are a number of reasons that the license can fail when accessing remotely - so difficult to isolate your particular issue.

I used the Remote Desktop Connection application built-in to Windows (standard Windows RDP protocol).

It connects me to the console display of the laptop as if I was in front of the laptop directly. Still logged in to the desktop session with my apps running as I left them.

That is unlikely to work - as it means some of the PC hardware will appear to have changed...
As the license locks to the PC hardware configuration, that will likely be an issue.

I've tested Chrome Remote Desktop, and that seems to work.

Thanks for testing that. I haven't used it but I will look into it.
