Perhaps there is some trick I am missing? No matter what Resolve displays a full screen image of the patches - and why are the controls sometimes greyed out?

Thanks you in advance to anyone who might know the answer(s)

No trick - BMD have not implemented the Patch Size control option...

Go shout at them

I shout at them regularly anyway as you may know (Mistika is much better product IMO and don't get me started on their race-to-the-bottom "cinema" cameras.)

That said that's too bad in terms of plasmas, but to me the real value of the thing is still there : verifying that both the output from the BM card and the computer are the same. That can still be done by using a full-screen patch on both, and recording the result.

PatchSize works fine for me in Resolve 10. It's been working since 10.1, from what I can recall.

The only problem is that the Lightspace Network Manager panel does not remember your last PatchSize and positioning settings, so you need to keep typing the settings in every time you launch and enable the Resolve integration.

Optimally, Lightspace would allow you to save and recall diffferent PatchSize/position settings, and remember the last setting you used every time you invoke the Network Manager.

Consider this a feature request, Steve

Also, it'd be great if you could fix the the way that the numeric fields are focused when TAB'ing through them...Right now, instead of cycling through the 4 fields linearly, it jumps from PositionX, SizeX, PositionY, SizeY when tabbing through the numeric fields, which is kind of annoying when your brain is in the mode of filling in both position coordinates at once.

In a related usability suggestion, It would be awesome if the current value in the focused field could be immediately overwritten by whatever number you type in when you initially TAB into the field. Maybe this is a Windows UI convention for navigating through form fields (I'm primarily an OS X user), but it seems really clunky to have to double-click the field (or hitting the Delete key multiple times) after tab-selecting it in order to overwrite the existing value.

Just some suggestions
