Weird Dif EOTF with Default Unity LUT

Do the following

• open a new profiling window
• in the Probe tab, select Virtual Probe, connect with it and select i.e. UHD Rec 2020 as OETF
• in the Settings tab, select the same Colourspace as Target, Default Unity as active LUT and Patch Scale/Resolution Legal/8bit
• in the measurement tab, load the FullRange Patch (attachment) and measure it
• you will get a weird Dif EOTF Diagram
• now change Patch Scale to Full
• and the Dif EOTF Diagram is as flat as it should be

So, what's going on here. An does this have an effect on LUT pre-evaluation?

Ah - that is just associated with the Virtual Probe.
If you change the bit-depth too you will see the zig-zags also change.
Mind you, it probably should not do that.
