Generating Spectral Data

How do I generate spectral data in ColourSpace similar to .ccss files? But in ColourSpace file format .edr or .csv?

Sorry, but you currently can't. You need specialist spectrometric software. I believe there are plans to have CS work directly with spectral data eventually, but it isn't now.

To see how well the generated AWP does to match Reference tech. DisplayCal can generate spectral data. But sad to hear that ColourSpace can't.

Unfortunately, due to the underlying issues with metameric failure, trying to use spectral data to generate an alternative white point is basically a useless procedure.
While very narrow bandwidth spectros can potentially generate more accurate readings, they will not correct for the underlying metamerism that causes metameric failure.
The only way to generate alternative white points that actually works is via a Perceptual Match.

Just for the hell of it, I fed that page the spectral data for a display that calibrates perfectly to D65.
A display with genuinely wide, smooth primaries that already reads correctly to D65 under both a colorimeter and via the human eye.
The result returned what is basically a fixed offset table, regardless of what spectral data was loaded.
It appears doesn't work as you may think it does.
And that is separate from the above info spectro measurements vs. a Perceptual Match.

To the best of my knowledge what this tool does is recursively calculate whitepoint coordinates from spectrum data via the CIE 170-2 CMF and returns the commensurate xy values under CIE 1931.

It may think it does that, but the results say otherwise.
But as it doesn't actually say anything about how it is generating the alternative white points it provides, and what the offset is based on...
(Although I can guess, based on the results I got.)

Trying to provide alternative white points for a display that calibrates perfectly to D65 is just wrong - especially with the values suggested.
You can test with any spectral data you want, from any display that calibrates correctly to D65.
The results are invalid.
