We are looking for a good quality scaler, in the sense of a separate box, converting 2K into 1280x720, and still preserving a good quantity of details and, above all, the color quality of DaVinci Resolve. Has anyone tried anything already?

The main purpose of my friend, is to find a good scaler because he does not really need high resolution,
and my DCI Gamut 3chip 720 projectors could fit in his budget.

To be honest I don't really know of any scalers for 1280.
The IS-mini (will shortly) do 2K to 1080, if that's of any use?
