STIX-A

The STIX-A is a thumb drive-sized HDMI pattern analyzer that can be used for light-duty in-field pass/fail signal transmission verification. It can also be used with Murideo's STIX Ecosystem large-deployment evaluation platform.

Overview

The STIX-A is a convenient multi-resolution format analyzer for simple pass-fail transmission path and display capability verification, and analyzes video test patterns at resolutions from 720p/60 through 8K/60, including 4K/120 High Frame Rate. The mini OLED screen displays the source selected, resolution, bit rate, color space, and FRL version of TDMS.

The STIX-A is also designed for Murideo's STIX Ecosystem large-deployment evaluation platform.

Murideo STIX Pair

The STIX-G pattern generator and STIX-A analyzer function as a USB-controlled and monitored pair of signal transmission and data reception verification devices when deployed as part of the Murideo STIX Ecosystem. Asymmetrical individual configuration that mirrors the tested system's component composition is also possible.

Standalone test and validation procedures can be executed manually, with the STIX-G sending 12 different patterns via a button press to verify the integrity of the signal transmission path, endpoint reception by a display device, or as a convenient source substitution when troubleshooting an HDMI wall plate. The STIX-G and STIX-A can confirm HDMI extension device operation or troubleshoot MXnet TX/RX functionality by acting as substitute source and display/sink devices.
