Hi,

I've managed to connect to the PGenerator over wifi but noticed that eth0 (ethernet) doesn't have an IP address set up. What is the recommended way to permanently set a static IP address for eth0? Currently, whenever the wireless disconnects, eth0's IP address is also reset to nothing.

Thank you

The PGenerator is configured to get eth0 ip address with a dhcp request;if you have not a dhcp server you can configure a static ip address logging on to the system with a ssh client (es. putty) and saving a file named eth0 in /etc/network/network.d with the following content:

ifconfig eth0 YOUR_IP_ADDRESS netmask YOUR_NETMASK

ip route replace default via YOUR_GATEWAY metric 50

and then restart the device

The credentials to use for ssh are:
username root
password PGenerator!!$
