As HDR displays are a lot more power hungry, it does make you wonder what 'tricks' are being pulled to get better power ratings...

Charles Poyton made a point when I saw him at MPC in November; if we go to HDR (even with local-dimming) the USA will need two more nuclear plants to power all those LCDs that have to push our so much more light - that's why we have to go to OLED for HDR domestically.
