Steve

Thanks, I did a thorough search yesterday to check before asking. I hadn't seen your linked post today yet, as I came directly here from an email notification about the new software, as I subscribed to this thread. Not to worry, as it looks like it won't apply to me either way.

The new 1691 release GREATLY improves i1D3 low light readings on my high contrast JVC NZ8 projector. No problems in reading low R levels now. Readings are repeatable, too. Now I don't have to do profiling using an old release. This is really appreciated. Congratulations on a great improvement. Thank you!

Please be aware that just because low-light readings are repeatable doesn't mean they are accurate.
As we have stated, there are issues with the probes when measuring what are inherently low-light values.

Hi Steve,
Interested in this from the latest build.
-- Tweak to RGB Bars Widget operation for Luma measurements
I think that is in addition to auto scaling on the Manual Measure tab. Is that explained somewhere?
Thanks,
LeRoy

Agreed Steve, even arguably the 2 best probes K-10A and Cr-100 only guarantee an accuracy of ± 2% at various Nits levels. 3nits for the K-10A and 0.34nits for the Cr-100.

Thanks.

Aaron.

There was an issue with the 'Luma' bar not showing errors correctly when the one colour channel was zero, and the overall luma value was low.

Hello Steve:

Is it possible to hide / disable the floating point adjust window at the HTL license level considering the feature is not supported?

The floating window has the xy coordinate data, as has always been shown for any selected point.
So no real change from previous.
In LUTs you can double click the graph to remove the window.

Could you please provide a link to where Klein specifies 3 nits? I do not think that is accurate?

Or the whole document if you want to read it. Wasn't sure if PDF's were able to be uploaded but they can.

A new ColourSpace release has just been uploaded

ColourSpace Main

1.0.0.1693 – incremental changes
-- Added first iteration of Admesy probe integration

Download is via the website Customer Log-In, as usual.

Note: Presently only the Hyperion colourimeter has been fully tested.
The Prometheus colourimeter should also work, but we are waiting an example to test.
As yet, the Admesy spectros have not been integrated, but will be added as soon as Admesy can provide an example for integration development.
