C7 LUT calibration / initial settings

I'm working on calibrating a new C7 55" OLED using LightSpace LTE and an i1 D3 probe. I'll be loading the generated LUT into a BMD Teranex Mini SDI/HDMI converter. So far, I'm getting some strange results, so I thought I'd ask if anyone would like to post their initial C7 settings they use on the display prior to profiling.

I'm targeting Rec709/BT.1886, not HDR, and am matching the display to an FSI CM250. I'm curious how people are setting the peak luminance on the display: Using the internal OLED controls to pre-set the luminance levels to ~100 nits prior to profiling OR profiling with the native luminance levels and using the generated LUT to limit the peak brightness?

It is always best to use the display's manual controls to set the desired peak brightness (allowing some overhead if the white point is not accurate) as per the User Guides.

The option for using the LUT is really there for situations where there is no alternative option.
