Jeti Package
Bag
I am selling the item as described:
1. Jeti 1501
2. Depolarizer
3. Tripod (as originally supplied by Jeti)
4. Protective cap
6. Original Jeti bag.

I can prove that the probe has been replaced with a state-of-the-art one.
Adding a depolarizer allows for a reduction in the relative error (4% in the specifications).

After a reparation, I have noted on my 1501 an issue with chromaticity on my OLED. I sent it to Miki, who also had a 1501, who made some comparison with his one (also freshly calibrated). The problem was acknowledged. We had some discussion with Jeti, and at the end, the issue was ascribed to a polarisation error. Based on that Jeti offered me, at a special price, a depolariser. That solved my problem.
Note that Jeti 1501 polarisation error is <2% and on new 2501 is < 1%.
To tell that I have cross-checked my 1501 (with depolariser) vs. my CR300 on my Oled (C1), and I get measurements in the assumed indeterminacy. Same on a Sony QD_OLED I have had under test.

That makes sense.
All later Jeti probes (including later 15xx) have a depolariser as standard.
With any probe you can see if any such polarisation issues exist by rotating the probe by 90deg on a LCD monitor and comparing measurements.
(Note: OLEDs do not suffer polarisation issues in the same way as LCDs, although they may use circular polarisation to limit reflections, etc., while QD-OLEDs have no polarisation at all.)

Enrico, before the recalibration (in 2024), I also compared your Jeti with Miki's CR-300, and I remember that R,G,B x,y matched perfectly on my QDoled S90C.
Excellent instrument!
I would gladly purchase it if you didn't live in my area
