Steve (or anyone else) - any experience of using this new box as a UHD/4k LUT? It apparenly supports up to 33-points for 3D LUTs in either the SDi path or the SDi-HDMI route. All this for the low-low-price of £355!

Any chance that LightSpace will be able to drive it as a patch-gen?

We have not yet looked at the box for patch generation.
It may not have that capability?
We will need info from BMD, but as yet we have not have any - so it is presently an unknown.
But, LUTs generated with LightSpace CMS work perfectly with the Teranex Mini.
(The only issue seems to be the box is rather noisy...)

Agreed with Steve, the box is very noisy!

Noisy from a sound point of view (small, fast-spinning fan) or noisy from a signal point of view?

Yes, the fan is very noisy. We put the fan into a junction box in the wall. That seems to work.

I can confirm that it is very noisy, but works well. You can have two luts loaded into it. The $80 optional display front-plate is worth the extra cost. Lets you do some basic controls right from the device, such as toggle LUTs and I love that you can see timecode and input/output resolution right there. Helps me trouble shoot quickly. Im using it in my color suite, and to counter the sound, I've placed in a cabinet with some acoustic dampening materials.

It belongs in a machine room or in a cabinet.

I've been rushed off my feet (building a Baselight room) so haven't had a chance to load up a LUT and have a play; but I did buy the front panel and it seems like a very competent little gadget.
