Option to export a 65^3 HALD LUT image?

Hi there. The LUT Image generation capabilities in ColourSpace are currently limited to 33^3.

I'm wondering if it can be extended to 65^3 in future updates? As that is another common LUT resolution well suited for look design and application.

A HALD image is, well, an image.
So, just apply any LUT to it within the LUT Generation window.
(But, there are already 65^3 LUT exports options in ColourSpace.)

There is even a Download option for HALD image for Reshade in Customer Downloads.
(Although the images are not 65^3.)

Hi Steve,

What I meant was that according to the ColourSpace LUT Image guide, the HALD that can be exported contains only 33^3 (35937) points. If I import this HALD image into Resolve, apply my corrections and export a TIFF in the same resolution (1920x1080), and import it back into Colourspace, it should still only have 33^3 points.

Granted, I can then export out a LUT with 65^3, but wouldn't this be interpolated from the 33^3 points? What I was suggesting if there could be an option in the future to export out a HALD with 65^3 points. For example, Lattice to my knowledge can import 65^3 HALD images but it seems that Colourspace can only import HALD images in the format it originally can export out (33^3 points) - do correct me if I'm wrong.

No - you cannot, and likely will not, be able to import 'any old HALD image' into ColourSpace, other than the specific format we use.
But you can export any size you want, as defined above, and that was your original question.
And yes, if you use the ColourSpace LUT Image as you define, it is a 33^3 size.
