Hello guys. I just want to say hi. I am new to colorspace forum and just got the colorspace pro license. I was practicing over the weekend trying to follow the LG calibration guide and reading alot of the video guides. I am embarrased to say the entire weekend and i was able to only the sdr calibration. Now i am familiarizing my self better and have 1 question so far i wasnt too sure about.

1.Do i perform the meter profile for the spectro to match the colorimeter after i perform the white balance in the service menu using the jeti or do i match my meters before doing the service menu calibration.

At first i was a little intimidated by the program but as i keep reading find it is not that hard. You just have to really want to learn it is how i felt. And i really do want to. I gave my girlfriend the keys to my car so she can leave me alone and the program so i can concentrate lmao.

Hope you guys have a good day. I will probably get some more practice this weekend.

Hi,

I prefer to pre-calibrate the 109% White in Service Menu with the Spectro, and define the peak output I want.

After that, to take the measurements for meter profiling, enable the probe matching and continue the pre-calibration (contrast/color adjustments if required) and then the large profiling.

At the bottom of the first post in ColourSpace threads in AVSForum, you can find a lot of additional links to expand your capabilities, beyond the LG Guide (for general calibration or functions)

Hello i finally after many attemps got something decent. And i am finally understanding colorspace on a different level lol . It took me alot of trial and error but i learned alot everytime i messed up. I think if someone has the will power and is the type of person that doesnt give up colorspace is the program for them. I am still trying to get everything under a 1 though . but this is ok with me for now.
