New Active Stabilization patch = idle patch question....

While I appreciate being able to keep a gray full window patch on screen between measurements when calibrating my WOLED panels, there are instances where I prefer using black stabilization patches.

Is there a shortcut to quickly change the active stab patch color to black or will I be required to go into the stabilization options, change the selected stab patch color to black, run a sequence, then change the stab patch back to gray (or whichever color of my choosing) in order to keep my WOLED panel "warm" between measurements?

Thanks in advance.

No, no shortcut, other than the 'O' key, which will disable the TPG, so set the output to black.
The Stabilisation patch is whatever colour you set it to.
If you do not want to use the Stabilisation patch colour for non-stabilisation patches (idle patches), turn off stabilisation.

Edit: the latest build will put up Black after a Characterisation if both Stabilisation and Auto Save for the Profile are enabled.

If I want to keep patch I'm measuring or have measured up on a display for an extended amount of time (e.g., during a perceptual match) how am I supposed to go about doing so since it appears the only choices I have are black or the chosen stab patch color?
I guess I'll need to change the stab patch to the same RGB triplet value as the measured patch?
Edit:
Looks like you can display a patch of your choosing if you select it in manual measure.

Re-edit:
Nevermind. Looks you can display a patch selected in manual measure in place of the stab patch, but only when the stab patch setting is set to full window.

That is expected and intentional Stabilisation operation.
If you want to keep a 'measurement' patch active, do not use Stabilisation.
For quickly swapping to a 'Stabilisation' colour when need during Manual Measure operation, use a Preset Patch List, and just click the patch colours in the list.

The Strikethrough in your post is because that statement makes no sense.
