Hello all.

Just to report that the new 9^3 CMS available for Radiance 20XX (I own a 2021) works well and increase the picture quality.

Thanks to Light Illusion and Lumagen

Regards
alex

Will LightSpace be adding tools to use the new windows and APL patterns that Lumagen has added to the Radiance.??

Thanks,

I suspect so.
Need the full SDK info from Lumagen to assess.

It seems that two days later using LightSpace's latest Beta, that the window sizing and APL works very nicely.

Thanks to Steve and Team LightSpace.

Running a full profile (17^3) now, but I would be surprised if anything went wrong.

I have a Lumagen 2042 and I'm having a problem with YCbCr422 output from the Lumagen when a 3x17 from LightSpace is uploaded to the current CMS (set for 9x9x9). Everything looks great when the Lumagen output is set to RGB or YCbCr444. Also with Oppo source set to RGB or YCbCr. But when I set the Radiance 2042 output to YCbCr422 the low grayscale goes to pot - but only on the CMS that has a 3x9 uploaded to it. Another memory with its CMS set to 3X9 but loaded with its default settings looks fine. Happens with Darbee on or off. I've tried the 10/29 and the 10/1 Radiance firmwares and the problem is the same. I've reset the Radiance and reloaded the LUT with no luck. Anybody elso see this problem? It's not subtle - look at any pattern for brightness adjustment. I don't know whether it's a Lumagen or LS problem, or maybe cockpit error on my part. By the way, I'm observing this problem using Ted's CMS disk as well as the AVS disk - both show the problem. Help? Am I the only one with this problem?

The issue turned out to be a configuration issue with my Blu-ray player that messed up its 24p output. So, the problem is solved.
