Is anyone experiencing a randomly happening extreme long pause when saving a pdf report. I've had this problem ever since I installed Lightspace on my brand new Asus laptop (win 10). Basically what happens is when I try to save a pdf report to my documents folder the software can become unresponsive for minutes. Not always though, just sometimes and I can't figure out what causes it.

That is usually down to there not being enough free Ram in the PC - usually when other programs are also open, using Ram, etc.
The PDF generation takes a lot of Ram to process.
We have made a small change in the nest release to stop the 'Not Responding' message, but if Ram is low it will still take along time.

Also, make sure you do not have 'power saving' options active within the laptop, as that will also slow things down a lot.

The laptop has 16GB of RAM and I'm never using multiple programs at the same time. Which pretty much leaves me to investigate on the power saving settings, of which there are about 79, in typical windows style. But I'll give it a try.

Finally found the issue. My laptop had Dutch installed as default language. Changing it to english and rebooting turned everything to normal/fast/as expected.

Ah - ok, that's very useful information.
Not sure if we can do anything about that, but we will have a look!
