Lightspace closed-loop/Resolve profiling feature request

It would be great if, after a lengthy overnight Full Display Characterization process, Lightspace would disable the output of the profiling patch (i.e., send either zero black or a full-frame gray image).

I setup Lightspace to do an overnight full display characterization operation on my Panasonic Plasma before I left for the evening, and came back this morning to find that the last white profiling patch had been left up on the screen at the completion of the profiling process. I now have a horrifying rectangular burn-in on the display.

Wouldn't it make sense for Lightspace to disable the patch display output at the end of a profiling run, so as to avoid this problem?

IIRC LS switches to the patch that you had on last prior to profiling, so display a black patch and then start your profiling session...

This something we do need to change.

Black is actually shown after profiling, but unfortunately not until after the 'time taken' pop-up window is closed.

We'll look at this again.
