Hi,
is it possible to import .csv LUTs in LightSpace CMS. I am getting error with importing Canon C300 LUTs form their website. (I am not allowed copy/paste the exact link in this post)

I have found 2 of these 3 LUTs around on web, but I need all 3 of them.
Of course you should would prefer getting them from "source" company that have created the color transformations in camera?

Thank you!

No, we don't support that format. No requests for them before.
I have looked at the LUTs, and actually they don't make sense to me - for a data based workflow.
The LUTs map everything to TV legal black, or Cineon Black, with weird white points for a couple of the LUTs.
Not sure I would want to rely in them to be honest.

Oh, they are easy to convert to work in LightSpace.

Just open in Excel, delete the first column, and repeat the second twice, so you have 3 columns the same, and then save as a .txt tab limited file. That will then load into LightSpace directly.

Hello!

I am trying to import the LUTs downloaded from Canon for C100 camera. The files are in the .csv format.
I tried formatting the files in Excel using the procedure described above. It does not work... I tried using the first three columns and then leaving the first blank, no difference... Lightspace says "This format is not supported in the current version" Also in Excel I didn't find an option for saving the file as a .txt tab limited file... There's an option for saving as a txt. tab de limited file... Is this correct?

I want to convert this to a format that is compatible with DaVinci Resolve...

Yep, should be tab delimited - that was a typo by me

But, the LUTs are not good LUTs, so be careful when attempting to use them!
