I have an old spectro, i1Pro2 Rev A, which currently I have trouble connecting to ColourSpace. I am just getting the red connection error.

The probe connects just fine on i1Profiler on an M1 Mac, while the difference is Colourspace runs on a parallels VM (Arm). Other probes are connecting to this parallel VM just fine, only the i1Pro2 is not connecting for some reason.

Could it be that i1Pro2 doesn't have an arm driver?
Anyone has any ideas to troubleshot, or anything to try?

Maybe try the drivers on this thread https://www.lightillusion.com/forums/display-calibration-8/i1pro-2-not-connecting-colourspace-825.html. I just got an i1 Pro 3 and used the driver that Ted linked. Colourspace found the probe right away.

Just tried the drivers. Unfortunately, there is no change.
I noticed in the device manager the Eye-One comes up with an explanation mark, with a note Driver is not Installed.
Pointing manually to drivers also didn't do anything.



It's definitely not a ColorSpace issue, opening even i1Profiler within the VM outputs XRiteDevice.dll is missing.

Sorry to say the i1Pro will NOT work with ARM Macs...
This is an X-Rite issue.

Thank you Steve, at least I can stop troubleshooting now.
I have a 2020 Intel MacBook Air lying around, I will convert it to a bootcamp machine, and run ColourSpace there.
