We have attempted to contact all display manufacturers, and explain to them the benefits of becoming ColourSpace Integrated.
Most, if not all PC and professional monitor manufacturers responded positively, and all with 3D LUT capability are now ColourSpace integrated.
However, most TV manufacturers either responded to our request negatively, or just have not responded at all.
And it is up to the various TV manufacturers to provide the necessary API/SDK information to enable Light Illusion to add integration capability into ColourSpace.
But, very unhelpfully Portrait/Calman attempt to force all TV manufacturers they work with to NOT work with any other calibration systems.
This is a borderline illegal situation - Collusion - as it prevents customers from having alternative options.
But, there is little we can do ourselves if a manufacturer will not enter into dialogue with us.
It will take users to contact the various TV manufacturers to explain to them that their customers want ColourSpace integration, based on the superior results it provides, as well as the more extensive calibration tool and capabilities, etc.
If any manufacturer - TV/monitor/TPG/Probe/etc. - provides us the required API/SDK information, as well as a unit for development testing, we will integrate their hardware for free within ColourSpace.
We make no charge for any ColourSpace Integrated work.
