Eizo cg247x internal probe connection error

Hi Steve,

I am trying to connect the internal probe of my cg247x to Colourspace LTE. When I click on connect button the probe swings up, a few greyscale test patterns run through but then the probe swings back down Colourspace reports an error.

I am able to connect an i1 display pro to Colourspace without issues that is plugged into the monitor's usb hub.

The internal probe functions as expected with Eizo's Colornavigator.

I understand that the i1 display pro is the superior probe but I am concerned about its age and I am interested in seeing how its results to compare to this very low hour cg247x.

Many thanks,
Miguel

Sounds like the monitor itself and ColourSpace may be fighting over control of the probe. Did you select the Eizo probe in the Probe Options menu? The CS documentation appears to show that you have to connect to both the monitor and the probe separately.

Thanks you. Yes, I tried to connect to the internal probe in the 'Probe Options' page. I have tried to do this both before and after connecting the monitor (and its TPG) in the 'Hardware Options' page. Neither have worked so far.

We have no known issues with the EIZO internal probe.
The fact it triggers the probe to activate, and run its initial test procedure, but then errors, suggests a local issue.
Possibly EIZO's own Colornavigator software causing a connection issue?

Thanks Steve. Uninstalling Colornavigator did the trick. I couldn't identify what element of it was running in the background using task manager but the full uninstall worked.
