Edge Color Test will measure the border of the gamut (255 color patches) with about 20-Points that connect each primary/secondary color.

Additionally, it will measure 21-Point Grayscale, ~20-Point of Saturation of Secondary colors (CMY), and ~20-Point of Luminance of Primary Colors (RGB).

That measurement run can reveal issues to the edge of the gamut since some color engines tend to expand saturation to these levels, like a 'Shark Fin' effect:



Some other displays/projectors expand or compress the edge colors; you can also see if some enabled processing introduces any issues.

The Edge Color Test (26 May 2021) ZIP will contain three patchlist with different patchscale settings:

FULL (0-255)...PC users / DaVinci Resolve

LEGAL (16-235)... Consumer TV/projector evaluation

EXTENDED (16-255)... LG OLED 3D LUT evaluation of Calman's Autocal (Shark Fins detection) or Yellow de-saturation filtering of the new engine.
