EDIT/ADDITION: Working with patches, I have found it useful to have source patches directly in % value. For this reason, I have created a second version using that kind of input.
I have cross-checked it against the outcome of the 16-235 greyscale generated by CS, and the generated values match each other.

Following CS extension to Resolution (10, 12, 14, and 16 bits) I have updated the excel tool to include also that parameter

The excel tool is also attached in a version generating automatically up to 256 patches. This can be easily extended.
There is also a "full" version doing the same, but up to 16000 values

Here a new version allowing also conversion of decimal patches (0-100) as input.

I have added:
1. Input forms to makes conversion setting more friendly and Patch scaling (see them in the Input Forms picture)
2. A way to outline duplicated patches, so to allow to remove them from the converted patch-set.
