I'm trying out Calibrating a Display to itself to generate a Display ICC Profile using Spaceman ICC but cannot find how to specify the xy values of the custom colour space in the profile (I only see a tag for the D50 white point).

Any pointers? Thanks

When generating a new ICC with SpaceMan the workflow is to embed a 3D LUT into the ICC.

For the 'Calibrating a Display to itself' workflow, the idea is the ICC is a simple Curve & Matrix based one.
To do that with SpaceMan, you would load an existing ICC that has such parameters, and modify them directly.

I see, so having both a 3D LUT embedded into the ICC profile + custom triplets doesn't make sense theoretically? Or is just impractical/overkill?

For the workflow you are talking about, it just makes no sense...

Alternatively, you could use RawTherapee´s ICC builder tool.

You can edit any Tag in an existing ICC with SpaceMan.
You can even cut & paste Tags between profiles.
No need for any additional program - just for info.
