ColourSpace ZRO license and SSD cloning

I have a quick question regarding the ColourSpace ZRO license activation.

If I restore a previously cloned drive image onto a different/new SSD on the same system, will the ColourSpace ZRO license be deactivated or invalidated due to the hardware change?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Attila

Different hardware, so different license ID.

Thanks for the clarification, Steve!

Just to be 100% sure: does this apply even if the rest of the PC remains identical, and the only change is swapping out a failing SSD for a new one (due to SMART errors) via cloning?

Does the disk's unique serial number count as a hardware change in the license validation, or will it still register as the same Machine ID?

Cheers!

Yes. The drive is one of those items inventoried to generate the unique DeviceID. A lot of software licensing is triggered/based on that DeviceID.
