ColourSpace can't connect to Lumagen

Hi,
I recently bought a Lumagen Radiance Pro 4446 but having problem connecting my ColourSpace HTL to it

ColourSpace HTL ver 1895
Lumagen RadiancePro 4446 (fw 040324), updating the unit with Lumagen updater without issue using same USB cable
Already loaded VCP driver and the PC detected the COM port as COM3, the ColourSpace also can see COM3 connected
Error message 1: Could not find the software version number
Error message 2: Failed to get version number COM3

I have tried to update my laptop, windows 10, using different cable and latest setup a new PC with fresh installation and license transfered but still same error when trying to connect.

Any help would be highly appreciated

I've just tested ColourSpace with the Lumagen Pro 42XX model I have here, with the latest 030424 firmware.
No issues at all.
There must be an issue with your configuration - but no idea what that could be...

Hi,
I have put a small program "RadiChecker.exe" (RadiChecker.zip) on Google-Drive, which searches for a connected Lumagen Radiance.

Simply copy the RadiChecker.exe file into any directory and double-click to start.
Maybe it gets a connection or returns an error.

In the serial rs232 connection menu in the Lumagen make sure that reporting is set to OFF. You can turn it back on for any control system after you've done calibration.

Thanks, did that and it's worked!
What are the function of the Reporting for the LRP? They should mention this in the manual or Tool Tips for newbie like me, wasted 2 weeks and I thought I bought a lemon.
