Hi

I'm considering to purchase an aja roi https://www.aja.com/de/products/mini-converters/roi-dp
Just to feed the display SDI-in from the DP/Hdmi out of a notebook with LS signals
Any experiences with it -or arguments to scrap the plan?
Thanks

Should be fine - although I've never used one, as have never had any need...

Wow that was a quick reply

So how do you feed the SDI in from the notebook (running LS)? Patchgenerators seemed to be pricier...And I don't like to tinker with a second Laptop and resolve etc

I only ever use the actual workflow the display will be used with - so via the DI system for grading set-ups.

For displays that are used separately, I usually use HDMI.

If I really need separate SDI I do use a patch generator, such as IS-mini, DVDO, etc...
