Selected Patch Sorting Sequence has no effect on csv-files

On the "Characterization" tab, select a "Cube17" profile and export it three times using the available sorting options: "Unsorted," "Sequential," and "Anisotropic." The exported files are identical, regardless of the selected sorting order of the patches. Is this intended?

I also wrote a small (Python) script that calculates the relative luminance from the RGB values. The luminance shows strong cyclic fluctuations over time. My measured profiles exhibit similar drift fluctuations, and I'm having a very hard time eliminating this drift.

Yes, as the Sorting (such as Anisometric, I think you mean) is applied for Characterisations only.
Exported patches are always Unsorted.
