Obviously a WIBNI,
When trying to use the same report template created for rec709 profiles, also for DCI/ST2084 ones, I have to change the gamut xy points, due to the different RGB coordinates (as I use Gamut xy type Graphs)
I would like to avoid that, by using as a colour. Input colours should be at least white and primaries. It would be even nicer is those colours are extended to secondaries, or to any primary level combination.

Sorry to say, I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to ask for...

Here an example:
For green zone gamut graph now I set:
Example for green

Instead of GProp0 and GProp1 with green coordinates I would like (as alternative/additional method), GPcolour = G.
GPcolour refers to the gamut referred in the profile source

Sorry, but that still makes no sense.
The graphs plot absolute coordinates, as that is how colour is defined.
Each graph has no idea what 'colour' it is plotting, or what area it is zoomed into.
That is why you can have different 'Reports Layouts' saved for recall, so you can pre-define the graph position/zoom,/etc.

The absolute coordinates of the colour are in the profile1 target gamut and there should be retrieved.
Example for green

Up to you to accept, but it makes some sense.

As said, the graphs have no idea what colour they are plotting.
That is why you can position and zoom as you want, and save as different Report Layouts, with different positions/zoom/etc.

Only to clarify to my idea, as you said that it makes no sense:

When I am interested to zoom on a gamut triangle I point my eyes on its vertices, not on its coordinates. The idea came from your example reports.
When I build such a report, I would like also to generate it by giving as input the relevant primary (I might have extracted from the profile), so that I can reuse regardless its coordinates, as they are in the target gamut profile.

But, unfortunately
Steve:
the graphs have no idea what colour they are plotting.
