As this came up in another discussion, I would it would be worth adding some information on Probe Polarisation Issues.
This has been added to the Calibration Issues page, under the Probe Accuracy section.
(The probe used was an Admesy Hyperion as it what I happened to have to hand.)

Interesting in general, and also interesting that the most of error (that is partially a polarisation error, as you have had to reposition the probe, haven't you'), comes from Luminance (around 4%), whilst chromaticity is below 0.0007.
On which source have taken those measurements?

It is not unexpected that the Y error is the greater with any Polarisation issue, as that is the more affected value.
But the xy error is not irrelevant, as can be seen in the result.
This was an LCD monitor, as they use polarisation within the display design.
And the only alteration in the probe alignment was a rotation.
