difference in reading speed of information x-rite i1 display pro and Calibrite Display SL

Recently, to replace my x-rite i1 display pro, I purchased a Calibrite Display SL (I chose it after reading an article on this forum about fictitious devices from a well-known company.) I started using the Calibrite Display SL to improve the accuracy of measurements with a correction from the x-rite i1Pro2. I was unpleasantly surprised that the Calibrite Display SL reads information 2.5 times slower than the x-rite i1 display pro with the same settings in ColourSpace LTE. The question arose: is it supposed to be like this or not? I would be glad to help solve this problem. English is not my native language.
Thank you!

The SL has better low-light capabilities than other Calibrite models.
But it is also slower.
That is down to the firmware in the probe, not ColourSpace.

I've taken low light measurements on all the i1 displays I own, so you can check out my notes.

I use the latest version of i1 display to distinguish it from others by starting with i1d4. The reference is the measurement data of spectrometer MK550T.

Any i1D3 with a higher peak nits capability will have less sensitivity on the low lights.
Please search this forum for more information, and see the i1D3 User Guide page.

Thanks for the link/info

The Calibrite ColorChecker Display PLUS (i1D3)—though rated for up to 2000 nits compared to the Calibrite SL's 1000 nits—appears to be the closest to the MK550T (unless I've missed something). However, I wonder if the older X-Rite i1Display Pro (for which I don't know the serial number, so I can't determine the nit rating) might offer even better low-light performance.

· Retail Versions (All Years) and OEM Versions Manufactured Before 2017: These models are certified to measure up to 1,000 nits.
· OEM Rev.B Versions Manufactured From January 2017 Onwards: These have an extended dynamic range and are certified to measure up to 2,000 nits.

The minimum display reading of the Rev B I1 Display Pro I have is 0.0222 nits, measured on OLED. But it cannot be guaranteed to be a valid value.
If low light accuracy is required, I would use other more reliable instruments.

auteur I bought it on ebay.com through an intermediary since I can't buy it directly. Sorry for the late reply.
