Hi all,
I'm testing the current ColourSpace x64 build under CrossOver on an M4 Max Mac. I want to use CR-250 to CR-100 with colourspace, but I'm currently blocked before it itself installs.

Tested configurations:
ColourSpaceSetup v2391
CrossOver 26.3.0 build 39832
CrossOver 26.1.0 build 39808
Fresh Windows 11 x64 and Windows 10 x64 bottles
Default graphics settings

The ColourSpace application is x64, but its Inno Setup 6.7.3 bootstrapper is a 32-bit x86 executable. CrossOver recognises the bottle as x64 with both x86 and x64 machine support, but the installer aborts while constructing its first wizard form:
"Error reading FPreparingMemo.Lines.Strings: System Error. Code: 1400.
Invalid window handle."

The CrossOver log then shows:
"Initialization of L"inemac.drv" failed
Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
The explorer process failed to start."

I did a test with notepad, 64-bit vs. 32.bit:
64-bit system32notepad.exe opens successfully.
32-bit syswow64notepad.exe exits without displaying a window.
I have also tried the following without changing the result:
CrossOver 26.1 and 26.3
Windows 10 and Windows 11 x64 bottles

So this I maybe an issue in need to bring up with crossover support as well.

Has anyone successfully installed the current ColourSpace x64 build under CrossOver on a recent Apple Silicon Mac?
If so, which CrossOver version, bottle type and installation method worked? I'd also be interested to know whether there is a supported way to install or copy the x64 application without executing the 32-bit installer bootstrapper. I think if lightillusion had a 64-bit installer it would have worked.

I have both the Inno internal log and CrossOver diagnostic logs available if useful.

As is stated in the Website, where OS requirements are listed, you MUST use full Windows emulation.
Crossover is not full Windows emulation, as with Wine on which it is based.
It is a limitation of Crossover/Wine.
So you will need to discuss with them.
