Hello,

I have switched from a MacBook Pro 13inch to a MacBook Pro 14, which is having a HDMI output. Has anybody already used such an output for Display Calibriation. Would this be an option, to shorten the "chain" by getting the RPi4 out, which usually runs the TPGenerator? And if yes, is it wise, to remove the TPGenerator from the setup?

Matthias.

Due to Mac's always active colour management - Colour Sync - using the HDMI output is not viable.
Mac does not play well outside the Mac environment.
(And not really that well within it...)

There are discussion on this within these forums, such as HERE.
